How to burn calories without sweating??

How good do you have to speak in order to become the President of United States?

Well first of all, you need to be able to speak to your audience without any written script in front of you, and at the same time, be confident. In none of Obama's speeches that I have seen has he looked at any script before. Either he is really a good public speaker, or that he has memorized his prepared speech, usually goes up to an hour, word-by-word.

Secondly, you need to be able to contain yourself from being frustrated of all the interruptions that you'll get when you speak. In Obama's 52-minute speech to the Congress last night, he had to stop, in between his sentences, for 65 applauses and 32 standing ovations!

Now,

Hi, my name is Cilantro, but why is everyone running away from me?

One day when we were eating Vietnamese fried rice,

Dk: I don't like cilantro, they don't smell "heong" at all...

Wn: Huh? I like them so much...every time when they serve it with steamed fish I will eat all the cilantro first...

Y: Eww....How could you like them? They smell like "armpit"!

I'm relieved I never eat them.

What's Groundhog day about?

Remember everytime when you come upon a new word in an article that you were reading
And you decided to decipher the meaning of that word based on the context and your knowledge
Until the point where you've seen the same word occurring a couple times
Only the urge to find out more about it appears
That's what happening to me

Yes it's Groundhog day
But it's my second Groundhog day
not knowing what it is
In order to make sure that won't be happening again
I finally decided to look up its origins

According to the dictionaries, Groundhog Day festivities are Pennsylvania's largest tourist gathering in the winter during which Punxsutawney Phil, a groundhog, comes out of his burrow on Gobbler’s Knob, Pennsylvania, each February 2 to predict the weather. According to legend, if Phil sees his shadow, there will be 6 more weeks of cold weather. If he doesn’t see his shadow, spring will come early.

So it seems that this is an important day especially for us staying in Iowa
Who are sick of the cold winter
wanting to know if Spring is near

And here's the news excerpt of 2009 Groundhog day

"PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – The world's most famous groundhog saw his shadow Monday morning, predicting that this already long winter will last for six more weeks. "

Not a good news...:(

Stop! It's time to...

The Arizona Cardinals lost on Sunday
They were unable to realize their dream of winning their first Superbowl

Roger Federer lost on Sunday
He wasn't able to match Pete Sampras record of winning 14 Grand Slams

Even though they lost the title today
They've gained something more valuable -
Life Lessons
And they will always be part of the history
that stands through the passing of time

Federer will always be remembered as the champion who gives back generously to the community through his foundation
The Cardinals will always be reminded of the hardwork of an underdog whom no one thought they would make that far

Even though they are whom I supported
I've gained something more valuable -
Life Lessons
The sportmanship that Federer possesses
The team spirit that the Cardinals holds
Sometimes there are just check points in life that we have to make a stop
No matter how bad we want to charge forward
But if we look back
We will see the milestone that we've accomplished
Take a moment to ponder about them as they will remain our best memories
We will also see multiple detours and shortcuts that we've missed along the road
Put them into our heart as they make who we are today
With these new tools
We are now ready to get back on our feet and continue the journey
To where we belong
And this time be sure to listen to the voice
that knows when to stop you the next time you get weary
